Natura11y was created and is maintained by Avidano Digital, an independent, disability-led, multicultural design studio committed to crafting inclusive digital experience.
Natura11y emerged from years of client work and a desire to make inclusive design more attainable for organizations with limited resources or capacity: addressing an ever-widening gap in the digital accessibility landscape.
As an open-source framework, Natura11y is built around real-world accessibility needs and continues to grow through ongoing research, usability testing, and feedback from accessibility practitioners.

Why is Natura11y spelled with two ones? A11Y is a common shorthand for accessibility. It keeps the first and last letters and replaces the 11 letters between them with the number 11.
